Referral Programme Terms and Conditions

This referral programme is offered by the company indicated in the first part of the referral URL. The programme allows advocates to refer new potential customers (a.k.a. leads) to the company. Advocates become eligible to receive a reward set by the company, upon the successful sales conversion of one of their referrals.

Defining a successful referral

A referral is generally considered successful once a referee has completed a successful transaction with the company. Typically this would be a completed project or sale, but this may vary if the company specifies otherwise. The company that operates the programme ultimately decides when a referral is deemed successful, not YOREFER. If the company has provided additional referral programme details, they will be accessible by the 'View programme details' link on the sign up pages. Please read any information provided here prior to joining the programme. By agreeing to the YOREFER terms and conditions, you also acknowledge that you are subject to any additional terms or conditions provided by the company outlined in the destination of the link.

Reward type and value

Advocates and leads receive the reward type and value as stated on the referral programme landing pages. The company is entitled to change these at any time, however, the programme reward at the time of a referral will be locked in. This means the reward or value changes between the time of the referral being generated, and the time it is marked as successful, the advocate and lead will still receive the tracked value and reward by default.

Distributing rewards

I. Your reward fulfilment will be processed immediately once the company has completed the rewards checkout. This does not mean it will be delivered immediately, as manual review steps may be required. Typically this will be completed within 48 hours, but may take up to a week. If you have not received your reward, and the company has confirmed they completed the payout, please get in touch via our contact form or email [email protected]. Rewards are distributed via email to the addresses provided by the advocate and the lead on the contact details forms.

II. Emails are validated for deliverability (i.e. to confirm it is not a dead inbox), but the responsibility of entering the correct email address lies with each of the participants involved. If an incorrect email is provided, please contact support as soon as possible and we can update it on our side. We do not take responsibility for, and do not offer refunds for vouchers distributed to incorrect email addresses.

Disclaimer

YOREFER platform functionality is provided as-is, and we do not offer refunds, respond to complaints nor accept disputes for the referral programme as maintenance of the campaigns and tracking/payout of referrals is the responsibility of the company. If you believe an issue has resulted from the platform itself, please fill out this form and we will review and respond accordingly.

Breach of terms & conditions

In the result of a breach of the terms laid out, or any other unacceptable use of the platform or programme we reserve the right to terminate the programme and cease any further fulfilment of programme rewards at our sole discretion.

Privacy

When handling your own or any other participants’ data, you are responsible for acting in accordance with local data laws such as the UK Data Protection Act 2018. In addition, be sure to inform any participants you involve in the programme of the relevant terms and conditions.

Amendments

We reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions associated with referral programmes. By continuing to use the platform you agree to abide by any changes.

Applicable law

Your use of the YOREFER platform and any dispute arising out of such use of the website is subject to the laws of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
